靳平，男，1964年生，理学博士，教授，博士生导师。

主要研究方向：有限群及其表示论；

主要研究兴趣：群的上同调理论、自同构群、群表示的辛结构及张量积分解、 Isaacs的特征标理论等；

主要学术活动：参加首届中美群论会议(2019年8月25-29日， 德克萨斯州立大学)并做50分钟大会报告，参加全国群论会议(2021年7月26-29日，汕头大学)并做45分钟大会报告。
